The role of the equestrian acupuncture model

The horse body acupuncture model is a professional model specifically designed for veterinary acupuncture teaching, training and clinical demonstration. It restores the body structure of a horse through simulation scale and marks the common meridian directions and core acupoint positions on the surface. This model can help learners intuitively understand the layout characteristics of the meridian system in the hippocampus, such as the distribution patterns of acupoints on the back, limbs and head and neck, thereby improving the accuracy of acupoint location and learning efficiency.

In teaching, the model can be used to demonstrate the methods of acupoint selection, the direction of acupuncture and the concept of manipulation (without actual insertion), and it is a basic teaching equipment for veterinary acupuncture courses. At the same time, it is also suitable for use in equestrian clubs, animal hospitals and science popularization scenarios to illustrate the principles and applications of acupuncture in animal health management, sports injury conditioning and traditional veterinary treatment. The horse-body acupuncture model not only enhances the quality of teaching but also promotes the popularization and professional development of animal acupuncture knowledge.
